Raising the Roof

posted Aug 31, 2013, 10:50 AM by James Christensen
The Roof Capital Campaign, as discussed and voted at the August 11th Congregational Meeting, has begun.
The goal of the Capital Campaign is to raise $42,000 within a multi-year period, with the immediate goal of raising $10,500 (1/4 of the total amount) within a four month period.
Repairs to be undertaken are:
  • Removal of the existing cement shingles and underlayment on the sanctuary roof.
  • Repair of deteriorated subroofing, soffits, fascia, and gutters.
  • Installation of new underlayment and asphalt shingles on the sanctuary roof.
If you are able to contribute now to the initial $10,500 commitment required to start the project, please mark your checks as “Roof Capital Campaign”.
All the contributions to the Campaign will be held separate from the general funds of the church and will be used only towards the capital improvements outlined above.
The annual giving statements will reflect these donations.
Contact Kathy Lorentz or Ron Ober if you have any questions.
